Using the DDP at CRT?

When we went in August 2006 I had to give a CC to for lunch at CRT and it was immediately charged to my account. We had the DDP but the lady on the phone told me I had to pay. (I didn't know anything about the free DDP that would start 2 days after we arrived ... but that's a different story!)

We're going in April - can I just give them my number the Disney guy gave me when I booked the package? I know it's 2 credits and I am OK with that - we use the DDP because we prefer to pay everything off before we arrive.

Any input as to how it works would be great!

If you want to use DDP TS credits, then they'll still ask for a credit card to hold your reservation - they just won't charge anything on it unless you don't show up.
