Using the dcl app with one account

I cruise next week and we plan on taking either an old phone or an iPad with the app. My 11 yo is cruising with me. Is there any way we can use just the one account to message each other from 2 different devices? I'd prefer not to make her a dcl account.

On-board usage of the DCL Navigator app doesn't require a DCL account. To use the app while on-board, you enter your birth date, first & last name and stateroom number to create a cruise specific account. Both of you will need to create separate on-board accounts in order to message each other using the DCL app.

Yes. This is what I did for my 11 year old. It will be very clear once onboard (actually we were able to connect to the ship’s Wi-Fi and set it up in the terminal waiting to board). Have fun!

Yes. Once connected to the ships WiFi (DCL-GUEST), you just need to enter date of birth, first & last name & stateroom number to setup messaging and other on-board features of the DCL app. Once both of you do that, you will be able to message each other using the apps chat feature.
