Using the app with a large family

Hello, I am taking my family in a few months. We have 5 kids so have two rooms/reservations. The person who helped us with the reservation at Disney said my wife would need to set up the app with 2 kids for one reservation to check in and I would need to for the rest. We have done that. How do I make genie plus reservations for all of us at once on my app? I know I should be able to figure this out but am so confused how to manage all of us together once there.

You need to add your wife as a Friend in your MDE app. It will send her an email, and once she accepts, go back to your Friends & Family List, hit Add a Guest, and it will automatically suggest the kids who are on your wife's account. Select and add them, then they will be on your list to choose when doing Genie+ or making dining reservations etc.

Though I have not been in the situation of having a large family, as long as one parent has an MDE account with everyone on it, does it matter that they are in two separate rooms as far as making genie plus reservations?

No, the only thing that matters is that everyone is listed as Friends & Family in the MDE account of the person making the G+ reservations.
