Using Target gift card to make monthly payments on annual pass?

Hi everyone - I've been reading the threads on using a target red card to purchase disney gift cards for the most cash back. Sounded like a great way to save a bit of money! I signed up for a Red card a bit too late with my annual pass expiration date coming up next month in December. I'd like to renew my pass using any gift cards I purchase at target but the monthly credit limit on my Red card would prevent me from buying the amount I need to pay for the pass in full. Since I can only buy up to a certain dollar amount each month before I max out my Red card, I need to spread out my purchases. is it possible to just sign up for monthly payments for my disney annual pass and pay with the gift cards?

No, only credit / debit card purchases are accepted for the monthly payments of Annual Passports.

I don't think so. The monthly payments must be paid with by credit card and it's a reoccurring charge. I think you can pay it all off early but on Disney's site they do not provide an answer if that can be done with anything other than a credit card since they state you can't make your monthly payments using cash. https://disneyland.disney.go.com/faq/annual-passports/#annual-passports-q22

If you have the money for the pass now, you can do what I did this weekend. I went to Target, and bought cards up to my credit limit. Then went straight to the customer service counter and paid the card off. Then back to buy more Disney gift cards, etc. until I had all of the cards I wanted.

Your other option is to get another red card that is tied to your debit card. That way you can do it all in one transaction.

This is great info. I hadn't considered paying it off through customer service. I will try this. Thanks so much!
