using target disney gift cards to pay for anual pass.

Is there any way to do this before you go to disney? I am a DVC member so I get that discount. I tried to order online but there wasn't an option to use giftcards. Is there a number I can call to do it over the phone? I want to do this via will call so I can register for fast pass plus for my November trip. I got the invite to participate 2 days ago.

If I can't do it online or over the phone can I use the 50$ gift cards in person to buy it or is it too many forms of payment?

If I can't use the giftcards for my annual pass I need to stop buying them because I will have way too many!

If you don't have any luck calling or online, you CAN use the gift cards to pay for the APs in person; the gift cards all count as one method of payment, even if you had 100 of them. It would just take a long time to ring up LOL! We always have some number of gift cards when we've bought our DVC APs for both DL and WDW, sometimes we've paid completely with gift cards, and we've always purchased in person. The only time we had any trouble in getting our passes was when we were upgrading our DL APs to the Premier Pass in WDW and they couldn't figure the difference in price. Still used several gift cards to pay though!

Check the DVC boards . A large number of DVC members were successful at purchasing the discounted PAPs last fall by using Disney GCs for payment. They did not have to be in Disney in order to accomplish it.

1. At the Park ticket (or Guest Relations) windows we can accept an unlimited number of Disney Gift Cards for a transaction. My record is a family used 23 GCs for purchasing a few APs.

2. As long as you have your Member Card you can get a DVC-priced AP at any ticket or GR window. Note that other family members 18 or older must have a photo ID showing they live at the same address as the Member.

I bought 5 DVC APs over the phone with a huge pile of Target Disney $50 gift cards. I called DVC and they could not accept more than 2 or 3 gift cards. They transferred me to a ticket dept. that could do the transaction with multiple gift cards (very friendly and wonderful). Member services told me next time to still call MS, and they would transfer to the ticket dept. .....said they wanted to manage purchases w/DVC discount that way. I did have a moment of panic w/MS as they initially made it sound like it couldn't be done.

I was not successful. When dvc transfered me it turned to Chinese, but I called the number dvc gave me and after 20 minutes on hold was told they could also only take two forms of payment. Perhaps I will try again another time.
