Hey--

I'm hoping that someone has experience using one of the restaurant.com certificates at House of Blues...

The HoB terms don't note that you can only use one certificate per table, or that the certificate is good for food only like most of the other restaurants do. Has anyone been able to use more than one certificate and/or use the certificate to cover food AND alcohol?

Thanks!

I have one...and it does say you can only use one per table. And yes it covers alcohol.

I've been using Restaurant.com for several years.
It is really good and they have great customer service.

Although enforcement of the rules varies by location they all tend to be strict on the one per table\party rule.

The point of these is to get you in the door and hopefully spend more than the minimum.

IMO: If people use these to just buy exactly $35 in food or try to beat the system then they will just stop participating or add more rules, like minimum two meals.
I've seen that happen in several cases.

We've used 2 of these certificates in the last 3 weeks. Yes - only 1 certificate per table.

Thanks for the info.

We've used the certificates on other vacations, and in our case they totally do what they're supposed to for the restaurants because we'll get a couple of drinks.

At HoB, we'd probably each get a sandwich and maybe 2 drinks, so we'll be well over the $35 with drinks, but a smidge under without them. Wanted to make sure it made sense for us.
