I think the answer is yes, but need expert to answer. We are checking into BWV on April 14 (can't wait). Will use resort ID for charge. My question is, can I put some cash down to have some credit (like $500) and can I also deposit my Disney Reward dollars (like$200) for credit to have a total of $700 credit? Thanks.

probably, we always use our debit card and I can honestly say that I didn't use any cash this last weekend escept for tips. They even take room cards at the ice cream kiosks.

What we've done in the past is put a credit card down at check in, and then periodically throughout the trip we would head down and pay off the balances. For my first trip w/ my DBF all we used were Disney Dollars. It was a great way of saving.

Nothing was ever charged to the card, but just in case we weren't watching and went over our budget, we were safe. Luckily, that has never happened.

Charging to your room is the best thing ever. We never had to worry about carrying large amounts of money with us. A great benefit to staying onsite.

In my previous expereince they've taken cash and Disney Dollars, so you shouldn't have a problem.

I always put down travelers cheques inorder to have a credit for using the room key card. Everytime I check into the resort though the CM has a difficult time putting the Travelers Cheques into the system for some reason, but it always get done and works fine.
