Using remaining WDW tix for DL

My family has non expiring days remaining on our WDW tix, now on magic bands. I was told by a fellow Disney fan that I can take my tix to the ticket window at DL and request to have a manager issue us DL tickets from our WDW ones. Has anyone heard this?

That option ended a couple years ago. WDW can only be used there. Same thing for DL.
