Using Rapid Rewards Ticket

When booking my upcoming flight using a rapid rewards ticket, I noticed something different on the website. It seems as if I CAN print out my boarding pass like normal, paying passengers do.
I know the last time I flew, I couldn't do that. Is this a nice, new change or was I reading wrong?

The new Rapid Rewards tickets can be booked and you can print the boarding passes from online. The older paper Rapid Rewards required you to call a special # to book and you had to get the boarding pass at the counter.

Yes you can print out your boarding pass with a Rapid Rewards e-ticket that they are now using. I just did it a couple of weeks ago!

Does anyone know if I can call the RR number to book my flight using a freebie and at the same time book the ticket I'm paying for?
