Using points to stay at Poly or GF

Am I missing something?? I no longer see point exchange rates for the Polynesian or the Grand Floridian. Did something change?

Wait... I have a question... can any DVC member use points to stay at GF or the Poly? My husband doesn't see any option to do that when he logs into his DVC account.

Members can use points at moderates and the deluxe resorts that don't have a DVC component. Points can also be used for cabins and select campsites at Fort Wilderness. These options are only available for direct purchases or resale purchases prior to 3/21/2011.

So, if I wanted to stay at the BCR, I would not be able to book that because they have BCV. Is that right?

Thanks. That helps a lot. My husband and I were going to try and book BCR for our anniversary in a couple years as that is where we stayed for our honeymoon. I guess we will book at BCV instead.

any hotel can have bed bugs - it just depends on the last person to stay there...

I'd be willing to bet that every resort on Disney property has had bed bugs at some point. It's more or less unavoidable, as nothing can be done to prevent them from hitching a ride in on some guests luggage. All a hotel can do is eradicate them afterwards,and from everything I hear, Disney does an excellent job of getting rid of them.
