I will be using points for Disneyland Hotel in Paris in October and wondered if anyone out there has used points for Paris as well. I know the hotel and park admissions will be included with the point usage, but does breakfast come with the hotel stay? Is it a character breakfast?

I have been looking through the Disneyland Paris brochure at the packages offered and it appears their packages for sale do include a character breakfast or at least breakfast either in the park or for Disneyland Hotel, they get a breakfast included each day at the hotel.

I would appreciate anyone's experience with using points for Disneyland Resort Paris. Thanks!

Wow, the hotel stay included passed to the park too! Sounds like a great idea to me - no hassle to buy passes, no lines to wait in to purchase them. My family would love to go to DLP but we all are sensitive to cigarette smoke and have not considered it for that reason.

Have a great trip and don't forget to check back in with us and let us know how it went.

Yes, a continental? breakfast is included with the price of the room at DLP, so it's the same if you're using points. As you're staying at the Disneyland Hotel (lucky you :D ) I think you have a breakfast buffet at Inventions, and there should be characters.

Sorry to sound rather vague, but I haven't stayed at the Disneyland Hotel - yet!! If you're interested in what food is on offer generally at DLP, here is a very useful site, giving reviews and menus of just about every eatery there!!

Have fun - it's a great place.:D

I appreciate the link to the food guide. I'm sure it would have the normal breakfast fare. I noticed that guests who stay at hotels other than the Disneyland hotel get to eat breakfast in the park as a part of their package, while Disneyland Hotel guests have breakfast at the hotel. My main goal with all of these questions was that if breakfast was included when using points, would we also have the option of having breakfast inside the park.

I like to take pictures of Main Street and the castle before all of the other guests show up and block my views for picture taking. I have gotten to do this at WDW and DLR by taking early morning tours that let you in before opening hours. I like to especially get pictures of the castle with just the castle. You get to feel like you were the only one there at the time.

I also know that they advertise the breakfast inside the park as allowing you to enter before opening hours.

Thanks again for the information.

Thanks for the links. In all my research, I don't recall seeing these sites before.

We went to DLP two years ago and at that time breakfast was included. It was at a restaurant in the park, there were no characters, and it was a continental breakfast. They had lots of cereals, juice, coffee, baguettes, ham and danishes. It was pretty hearty. I find that althought the points are high- it is not a bad deal considering you are getting admission and breakfast.

Be advised that you get three days admission. In order to book the points you have to book at least two nights. What I did not realize is that your pass starts the day you arrive. Therefore with a two night stay, you get three days at the park.

Having been to Disneyland, DLP and of course MK- I have to say that this is the most beautiful park. The artwork and colours are out of this world. Enjoy!!

Staying with points is the same as a cash booking for DLP, nothing more, nothing less.

Breakfast is definitely included and is a good continental breakfast. You have to book your breakfast time on check in and if available they will then also offer you the possibility for breakfast in the park. This is in Fantasyland and you are hearded on the train to get there. But you can get good photo's of the castle & mainstreet with no-one there!! And you can then go straight into the park and do Peter Pan (which is the most popular ride!!)

They don't always offer the breakfast in the park option, so don't count on it. There are characters at all the hotels at various times all themed to the hotel, so at Newport Bay there's sailor Goofy and Mr Smee and at the Sequoia Lodge you'll probably find Chip and Dale.

Your entry ticket is valid from the moment you check in, so you can dump your bags with bell services and then go straight to the park. All the hotels are walking distance from 5 - 20 minutes, so it's usually quicker than waiting for the bus. On the way home you can leave your bags at the main gate in storage and enjoy the parks and then pick them up and walk 5 mins to the train/bus station for the airport.

This is also a pretty good site for general information:

You can also PM me, I've been 6 or 7 times so I should be able to answer most questions, otherwise there's also the DLP board here on the DIS.
