Using "plusses" off of old park hoppers

I have park hoppers from our last trip that have one "plus" that is unused. All of the park days are used, but I saved that one "plus". This trip we are getting 7 day MYW tickets with hopper option, but no plusses--no way we would ever use that many plusses (don't care about DQ, swimming at the hotel is enough for us, etc.)
The only issue is that last trip the kids were 5,8 and 11. The two oldest are now "adults". Will we have to pay any kind of upgrade to use these tickets at Typhoon Lagoon? Is this something I could do ahead of time so we can walk right in at opening and not fool around at the ticket booth?

Nope as long as the kids age corresponds with when the tickets were originally purchased you are OK as far as I know. (menaing they were child age when they werer purchased)You will nedd to go to guest services and echange them for adult tickets.

I called the last time we used park passes that were older my daughter was 7 and going to be 10 when we went back, they said that was fine no need to pay anymore, I didn't have to exchange, but she was only one year over the child age.

I thought only the park hopper portion did not expire, and that the plus option expired within 14 days after first use.

Not if you bought a non-expiring park hopper plus ticket...DD had two plus days left on her ticket from 2000, we used them last year!

Yes, these tickets are from end of 2003, so the old rules apply. They were all the correct age when they were purchased.
