Using park tickets before checking into resort

We are staying at the Boardwalk and have package with tickets and dining from 8/21-8/27. We are driving down and will actually arrive on in the afternoon on 8/20. We have a room only at all stars for that night. If we do online checking, will our tickets be ready to use on our magic bands on 8/21. We want to drive to BW, park, head into Epcot at rope drop and then take a mid day break to unload car and unpack.
