Due to a Diser's great tip about rebooking, I was able to have $140 credited to a SWA account in my name. My question is when does this money have to be used by? In the fine print which is very confusing to me, it almost looks like this money has an expiration date of one year from the date I originally purchased my tickets. Could this be right? Has anyone had experience using their credited SWA money and how long does it stay in that account? Thanks in advance!

Yes, it has to be used 1 year from the date of booking.

If you won't be using it in that time I would suggest selling it on ebay :thumbsup2

You don't have to use the credit yourself, if you have a friend flying somehwere between now and when the credit expires you can either give it to that person or sell it to them at face value or a reduced rate.

Just gave a $104.00 credit to my Mother-in-Law and Father-in-Law. :thumbsup2

Seriously Haygan? Do people do that?

Yes, they do! You won't get full value but it is definately an option if you won't be using it!

I happen to know of a certain DISer that might be interested in it as well :rolleyes1 PM me if interested in avoiding ebay fees ;)
