Using ME 2 Days after You Arrive?

Question- We want to rent a car but only for two days because we want to go to Universal for two days. Can we rent a car when we land for two days, then one person drive it back to the airport then get Magical Express back to the hotel (we will be staying on property)

Kind of confusing I know, but we are thinking it will be cheapest to rent a car for two days to Universal.

Technically, yes. My concern would be that DME may get confused if no one takes the bus to begin with. How about you have one person take the bus upon arrival...then a second person can take it back to WDW after returning the car?
Or...you could just rent from Alamo/National at the Dolphin, or use one of the car rental companies located in DTD. Many of the DTD companies (usually located within a hotel/resort) offer shuttle to/from your resort. Just another option.

Wow, thanks for the information. I did not know there were car rentals located on Disney Property. Do you think those will be more expensive than the airport?

If you are going to use ME for one total round trip from the airport and finally back to the airport from your resort, you can schedule your trip from the airport for two days after your arrival. Call to set up your ME travel dates and they will note that you will be getting your self to the airport for the trip to your resort.They will also set up your return from the resort when you depart. You may find that renting the car from a location other than the airport is less expensive then renting and returning to the airport. May sure and take advantage of the discount rent car coupons you can find online, they will save you money.
