Using MB to pay at counter service restraints

I am an adult but I eat pretty small portions. Sometimes I get a kids meal at the counter service places. I am no traveling with my kids this trip. Can I still buy/pay for a kids meal using my MB to charge it or will the MB somehow alert the staff that no children are traveling in my group, disallowing me to charge a kids meal?

You can order whatever you want at any Disney counter service and pay for it with your Magic Band.

If you're on the Dining Plan, free or paid for, there might be an issue. Not sure of the specifics of dining plans.

I have bought kid's meals for myself using a MB at a counter service with no kids. It is no different than when I travel with DS and grand kids and purchase 2 or 3 kid's meals with no kids linked to my room.
