Using Magic Bands before check-in date?

Hi! This is our first trip with Magic Bands, and I have another question. I thought I knew the answer, but another thread has me questioning this again.

On our upcoming trip, we are staying offsite, but have an onsite night booked towards the middle of our trip. We have third party tickets linked to our account, and fastpasses booked prior to our onsite check-in day.

My question is- will our Magic Bands work for admission and fastpasses with our UT tickets a few days prior to our onsite check-in date? Do we have to have the bands activated somewhere or anything before we can use them?

Yes, because you have active tickets. You did not purchase a package so you won't have any problems that the "package purchasers" are having prior to check-in.

MagicBands are active the moment they are made. As long as you link your tickets to MDE, you can enter the parks by using your MagicBands.
