Using Kroger Fuel points for driving

We are driving to Disney in mid-June. I am paying off our trip with Disney GC that I have purchased from Kroger. Kroger gives 4X fuel points with GC purchases, taking up to $1 off a gallon for fuel purchases. I was hoping to use these points on our trip to save us some money. AAA gas cost calculator estimates 120 gallons = $120.

However, initial searches of Krogers in LA, AL and FL show that they don't take the fuel program. Any thoughts of how to get around this? Am I missing something?

Don't have any definite answer here but suggest you call the customer service number at 1-800-576-4377 and ask them.

Alabama has some type of law that does not allow fuel discounts.
There are no Kroger stores in FL.
Not sure about LA.

One idea would be to buy the BP/Shell cards at Kroger to earn points, then redeem points for local driving. You can fill at Kroger before leaving, then come back home empty with the discount waiting for a refill.
