Using kids CS credit at Be Our Guest lunch

I've been looking at pre-ordering for our Be Our Guest lunch ADR and having never used the Dining Plan before, I'm a bit confused about what I should be ordering for our son. The kids meals all include a drink, so I'm guessing that means I don't order a drink separately, but I can order a dessert for him with his credit. Is that right?

The kids meals include dessert, usually grapes or the like

If you order a cupcake it will be a snack credit in addition to,his cs credit

The kids lunch menu at BOG doesn't say anything about a desert. If I go to order the Whole-Grain Macaroni, it asks me to choose a side (fries/cookie/broccoli) and a drink, but no desert. I'm guessing that's not what you'd expect?

Interesting. Looks like your side can be either dessert cookie or broccoli. I know what I would pick

We've always gotten the cookie. The computer won't let you attach a cupcake to your meal. And one time it charged me a QS credit for soup! rather than using a snack credit. If you order ahead, double check your receipt and credits used. If you get a person who takes your order, it should go smoothly.
