Using Interval Weeks to Stay at DVC

Could somebody explain to me the process and all of how to use one's Interval International weeks to stay at a Disney Vacation Club resort? I might want to do it sometime in the future.

I don't know your situation, but as of 12:01 am today (Jan 1, 2009) DVC severed it's connection with II and entered into an agreement with RCI.

Hmm, well they are listed in the 2009 Interval book. Maybe that was published before they made their decision?

I'm sure the book was published before the relationship with DVC was discontinued. II members can no longer trade into DVC, which only trades with RCI now.

call II today - they may still have some studios left for 2009.

but that is about all you can expect.

Jan-Sept was with II mostly.

You can also potentially snag a cancellation, if your dates are very flexible.

My mom tried to get a DVC through II last week and they had no availability for the entire year of 2009. We are considering just doing a private trade.

they did have some studios - but definitely no 2-bedrooms left - unless someone cancels - not likely since 2009 is the last year for II.
