So we'll be taking our little girl who will be 16 months when we go. I plan on taking most of her food/snacks. I thought I'd just use ice packs in a SMALL soft sided cooler like when we go to the zoo, etc. But then it dawned on me. We'll be there for 4 days.

Do you guys use actual re-useable ice packs? If so, how do you get them re-frozen? Or do you just fill a ziploc with ice?

I also thought about using water bottles that are half frozen, but i don't know how we'd get the water frozen (we'll be driving and staying at PPH).

help???

I use re-usable ice packs if we take a small cooler. I re-freeze them in the hotel freezer/fridge overnight.
Doesn't PPH have mini fridges?

I have done both. But I have also froze my capri suns in the hotel mini fridge the top shelf is a freezer. That worked really well! I have also used the gallon ziplock bags and put ice in half way in one and then put that bag in to another ziplock bag (in case of leaking) I found that those two actually worked the best for us. For space and to keep stuff really cold. :goodvibes

great! good to know! I couldn't remember how cold the fridge was when we went last year.

But i'm glad to know others have used the top shelf to freeze/keep things frozen!

This will makes things really easy for us!
