We're hosting a graduation party for my daughter and her friends Saturday night, but it looks like it could rain, or at least be too muddy for the backyard so I want to use the garage as a backup plan.
Plan A is backyard with lights on the patio gazebo, tiki torches, badmitton, music and dancing.
Plan B is garage. We can still do music and dancing but what can I do to make it look better? It has to be cheap and fast. Anything to take the focus off the tools on the walls and general garage-ness of it.

My plan is to make the party tents sort of an extension from the garage so people can sit and eat or socialize, only problem is there won't be any volleyball or horse shoes, etc.
Hope this helps.
