If people would not butt their nose in with snarky posts - things would be great! You seem to enjoy doing that though - this isn't the first thread I have noticed with snarky comments from you.

I have noticed that you are being so sweeeeeet on this thread. :goodvibes

NC doesn't have a lot of codes, etc that deal with Disney...why should we have to pm?

and what does ridulous mean?

Why is it we cannot be civil with one another and agree to disagree?
Lighten up everyone. The OP asked a question and I think it was answered.

Well the funny thing about it is this is a public forum.

I am a very helpful person on the boards I dont know where that comes from.

You know what that means but I did go edit it so you would not have a problem understanding it.

it's funny how it's always the second person!!

Sorry lillygator I was posting at the same time you were. I was not referring to just you.

I am just saddened that Florida residents really do not like tourists or "snow birds" I know we cause problems with increased traffic etc. But there are also a lot of other places that have a lot of tourists or that just growing to fast for the roads in the area. I have lived on a private all sports lake in SE Michigan for 15 years now.
When we first moved here there was very little traffic. Now our population has increase many times and the traffic is even heavier. We have remodeled and expanded a HS. We have built a new HS, a new middle school and a new elementary school. But the building up of this area is tremendous there are condos going up all over because there are a lot of lakes in our area.
We have lakes you have the Ocean the Gulf and the tourists and the
"snow birds" (that's me  )
The increased traffic, etc., is just a by product if living in a desirable area!

Linda - I don't think most of us "don't" like the tourists....it just gets frustrating during season.

and the population is becoming a much older age as everyone seems to want to retire here....:)

what gets me - during season, the snow birds are up at 6:30 and 7am trying to come off Siesta Key!! I am thinking that when I retire I would like to be sleeping in!! :) I guess when you are used to a routine though.....you kind of stick with it!

LOL
Either that or they are just trying to beat the traffic like everyone else. My dh owns his own multimillion dollar company but he leaves for work by 6:15 every morning. If he waited till 6:25 to leave the 20 minute drive would be almost an hour!
OOps. I think we may have hijacked this thread.
Sorry Mods!

"Winnie the Whiners.." How about this? No matter WHERE you live, how about being thankful that you still HAVE a town to live in? Many people don't..

Sounds like a pre-school class here..

Please accept my apologies everyone.
I am very happy where I live and very thankful for all I have and I did not mean to sound like I am ungrateful.
