I'm one of those people who is trying to fit it all in by following a Touring Plan and I'd like to know if I need to use the Fastpasses where recommended in the TP as we will in WDW at the end of September and my understanding is that the Parks are not that busy at that time of year.

This is our first trip all the way from Australia so I'd really appreciate any advice.

:lmao:

Yes.. for the main headliners...TSM, TT, RNR, Soarin, Space, Splash, PP, BTMRR, EE, Safari, and Rapids....especially TSM and Soarin...

My thoughts get em...better to have and not need them....then to not have them and need them....

Even in non busy times TSM and Soarin can be up to an hour or more wait...PP and SPace and safari about 45 mins...the others listed 20-40 mins....rapids may be busier due to the heat...we usually go mid-nov...very quiet time and this is what we have experienced....Rope Drop is still a good idea too

Hi Bowerau - come and join us in the Australia subforum too! There are a heap of Aussies heading over between now and the Sept school hols. Here is a direct link: http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=177

From what I've read better to have the FP for attractions like Soarin, Toy Story Mania, etc.

Another tip if you can fit Mickey not so scary Halloween Party in your budget, I found that if you go during MNSSHP, most of the rides at MK are walk on or 5 min wait time. I traveled the end of Sept last year, I got all the FP for all the rides that have them.. The only time I find that I actually use a FP is Toy Story Mania. Everything else for me was 10 min wait for less.

Thank you so much for all your posts I really appreciate it. It's so great to have a place where you can ask questions. Now I'm just counting the days!

Even when it's not crowded, waits at the headliners can be 30-60 minutes (as opposed to 60-120 mins during peak times). So I would still highly recommend making use of FP wherever possible.

While September is a great month to visit, and most rides have little to no wait. You will find you get so much more done using fastpass on the more popular rides that always seem to have longer lines.

Have a Magical September trip. :tinker: and find lots of Pixie Dust.

Oh! how I wish I was going in September. :sad1: We were just there for a week in May and spent 10 day there this past September and DH say we need a Disney Break.
