Are there any little known tips to using the Fastpass system? Is it possible to pickup a fastpass for one attraction and as soon as your timeframe opens, go and get a fastpass for a 2nd attraction?

Thx! :sunny:

absolutely. :)

I don't know if I'd call it a tip, but they always print the time that you can get another FP on the bottom of the FP you just received-Pay attention to that. Normally its 2 hours, however sometimes it's an hour, or 15 min, or go to such an such a ride and you can get a FP right now sort of thing.

Here's a couple different things I did.

At MGM - was at the park for opening, went immediatly to get a FP for ToT, had a return time of 9:40, (it was 9:00 then,) since it was just park opening, the standby line was only like 5 minutes, so I rode it, then Rockin' Roller Coaster, (also standby, 15 minute wait,) went back to ToT, used my FP. So I rode Rockin Roller Coaster once, and ToT twice, in less then an hour. I was then able to get another FP.

At MK - same thing I did at MGM, except one morning I did it with Space Mountain and Buzz Lightyear, and a different morning I did it with Splash Mountain and Thunder Mt. Railroad. A thrid morning I got a FP for Winnie the Pooh, and then saw Phillarmagic and Snow White's Adventures with no wait before my FP time.

At Epcot - One morning, at Park opening, I went and got a FP for Soarin, rode it with stand-by with like a ten minute wait, by that time, I still had about fifteen minutes until my FP time, but standby was already very full, so went to Sunshine Seasons, then used my FP. Soarin is the only ride in Future World that I used FP for, and when I wanted to ride Test Track, I just used the singles line.

OP, what you're talking about is EXACTLY the way to do it. If you have a FastPass for Space Mountain with a window of 12:30 to 1:30, it probably says you can get another FastPass at 12:30. So BEFORE you go into Space Mountain, get FastPasses for Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin. That way, part of your waiting time to get into Buzz is spent in Space Mountain. Makes perfect sense.

Another good way to manage your time is to know what's NOT a FastPass attraction but is in the neighborhood of one. For example, get a FastPass for Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, and while you're waiting for your window to open you can get in the almost always long line for Dumbo, which is NOT a FastPass attraction.

Getting a FastPass before lunch can be a good use of time, too.

There aren't any real "secrets," just good time management strategies.

::yes:: We did. Got to the park, went right for Space Mtn. Stand by was real short. Got FP for later, got on in stand by line. Got off, walked around, rode a couple other small things. When FP ride time came up, went to Buzz, got FP for that, then went and used the Space Mtn. ones. Kept it up all day. Was great. That was the first week of August last year. I think the longest line we stood in was to get food! :cool1: Seriously, the longest ride line was only like 20 minutes. Took us 45 just to get burgers and fries! :confused3 The FP tells you when you are able to get another. You don't have to use the first one before getting the next. :cheer2:

Another good one is, for Epcot, in the morning, go get a FP for either Test Track or Mission:Space, and then walk down the block to the Universe of Energy and do Ellen's Energy Adventure. Even without a line, it's a 45 minute attraction. That uses up a big chunk of time of your wait. And again, just before you go into the one you have the FP for, get a FP for the other one (or walk across to Soarin' and get one for there).
