Using fast pass while staying at the Swan

Planning a short trip next October for just MNSSHP and one day at Epcot for the Food & Wine Festival. We'll be staying at the Swan. Will we have paper tickets mailed to us? How will our fast pass times work without magic bands?

In order to make Fastpasses ahead of time, you must link your ticket into your Disney or MDE (Disney app) account. If you have old Magic Bands, they will still work since they access your Disney account info.

Without Magic Bands, you use the paper tickets at the tapstiles to enter the parks or use your Fastpasses. If you don’t have old MBs, there is no need to buy them since this is the only thing you can use them for as a guest of the Swan.

You can not use MBs as room keys or to charge back to the room, and the Disney Dining Plan is not available either.

Thanks for the information. Ever since magic bands, we've always stayed on-site, so I'm not sure how to tour without them!!

You can use any of the MBs you own to enter the parks and FP lines. You just can’t open your room door or charge purchases with them.

Hubby doesn't have one. We went to Disneyland last year and my trips before that were with kids. I don't mind using paper; I'll have DH hold on to them.

Why don't the rest of you use your magic bands and he use his plastic card? It's still more convenient for the park entrances and fastpasses to have them on your wrist!

For those of you who have Magic Bands, just use them and for the others; get a lanyard with a pouch and use that, no worries

Make sure you link your Dolphin reservation and all the park tickets to your MDE and your good to go. We LOVE the Dolphin - enjoy!
