Using expired Disneyland tickets at Disney World

I have three, five day park hoppers for Disneyland which I am considering not using this summer. The tickets have an expiry date of 2020/Jan/13, but as I understand it I could go to Disneyland in the summer of 2020, and get a credit towards new park hoppers (or perhaps annual passes).

My question is: we are thinking of going to Disney World in 2020 instead of Disneyland. Could I use expired Disneyland tickets as a credit towards tickets at Disneyworld?

You cannot. It is mentioned in the link below that you can't use Disneyland tickets for WDW and vice versa.

Thanks for the info. At this point, our plans for 2020 are very tentative, so we may very well end up at Disneyland again next year. But if not, we will no doubt be back in 2021, so I'm confident I'll be able to use the tickets eventually.
