using exercise room/equipment

i know as a member i can use the rooms/equipment when staying on points; however, can non-members staying on points use the room/equipment if i am also using the equipment? thanks

It shouldn't be a problem. If they are in a separate room from your's, they will have their own "key to the world" card that says "DVC member" on it. They should just have to present that card.

there was a time when WDW charged non-DVC for the use of the gym - they don't anymore.

so their resort ID (key) should be enough.
