We'll be going to DL over the summer. We will be using DVC points. We are considering a concierge room. Does anyone have any input? We are un-decided as to which resort. Is concierge worth the extra points? I know there is a continental breakfast, cheese and wine in the evenings, and all day soda/coffee, am I missing anything? Is the spread worth it? Will breakfast offerings enough to hold me? Are the offerings strictly carbs? I am a hypoglycemic so breakfast is kinda important to me.

Congratulations, I hope you have a great trip. We are also planning to book the GF concierge level using DVC points for our trip next year. I would love to hear about your experiences with the concierge service and food offerings when you get back.

I'm not sure what GC's concierge offers in the morning, but we had friends staying in Concierge who took us into the lounge one afternoon (~3:00) and they were serving tea sandwiches, Mickey-shaped scones, and fruit and cheese. I could definitely make a pretty good meal out of that! I think our friends told us they had things like scrambled eggs and bacon/sausage in the morning, in addition to sweet rolls, etc. but I'm not positive.

Never seen things like eggs/bacon or sausage. More like bagels, fruit and danishes.

Yes, please post a review!

I tried yesterday to switch out our June WDW ressie; but all that was left was that level of room (didn't have enough points - lol).

Will try for next year!

I've read more than a few posts wherein members say they book standard & are upgraded @ checkin...wonder if it's true?

Anyway====enjoy! Sounds quite pampering to me.:)

I'll have my laptop with me, hopefully I'll remember to post a review. We had 200 points we had to use or lose, and had some free flights on Jet Blue, so we decided to do it. Good thing I am self employed, and my laptop will be my best friend in the coming months. I'm doing the 1st DCL Med Cruise, DL in July, WDW in September, ABD Imperial Cities in September, F&W and the DVC Members criuse in October. And I have a one week stay in a 1 Bdrm unit anywhere in the world that Interval International is that has to be used by October!
