Using Disney Visa Reward $s

Does House of Blues and Shula's accept Disney Visa Reward Dollars?

Call them directly and ask. So far we haven't found a restaurant on property and in DTD that doesn't accept them but there could always be an exception.

OK, now I'm confused. I usually stay on-site as a DVC member and use the DDP. I pay for it upon checkin using Disney Visa Reward Dollars. Then I charge the tips to my room. The night before checkout, I go to the front desk and use any remaining Reward Dollars to pay off my room charges.

In a couple of months, I will be staying off-site, so no DDP. I was planning on using my Disney Reward Dollars at several counter-service restaurants and a couple of table-service restaurants. When I just googled redemption locations, I got a very small list of restaurants. I'm like you, Purseval; I thought all Disney restaurants accepted Reward Dollars. I just wondered about HoB and Shula's since they aren't owned by Disney. I figured they wouldn't take the Reward Dollars, but I just called HoB, and they said they do accept them. Now, I'm confused because there are places like Columbia Harbor House that aren't on the list. Do they really not take the Reward Dollars???

That's why it's best to call. Even if a family went there yesterday and used reward dollars that doesn't guarantee you will get to use them today. In the days of unlimited one-price phone service it doesn't make a lot of sense to hope somebody else's information is still valid. Our last visit we used Disney dollars at Raglan Road, which is DDP, Cookes (cs?) and Fulton's which is non-DDP. That was 12-4/12-8-2010

Shula's does not. The restaurants at the Swan and Dolphin do not accept Disney Visa Reward Dollars.

Any Disney-operated restaurant will accept them, as will some non-Disney-operated ones.

This is the list I saw which made me get nervous. But now I see the heading, the "Most Popular" places to redeem, and the statement at the bottom which states this isn't a complete listing. Whew!!! Now I can plan on using my Reward card everywhere I had planned to eat, except Shula's. Thanks for all the responses.
