Hi everyone,

If you have used your new Disney Visa at the parks, I have a question for you.

Was the whole cc # printed on the receipts or just the last 4 #'s preceded by xxx.

I just read the thread on the resorts board about cc fraud on the posters recent vacation and I am thinking twice now about using credit cards in the parks if it is Disney policy to print out the whole #. I have applied for my Visa, but it has not arrived yet.

I used my Disney Visa last week at WDW. At Cosmic Ray's in MK, the last 4 digits preceeded by xxxxxxxxxxxx showed on the receipt. At Tatooine Traders in Studio and Pin Station in Epcot first 8 digits only were printed. At the Coral Reef and Kona Cafe, the entire 16 digit account number was on the receipt.

If you are onsite, charge back to the room and then pay it with your Visa. Some show all the numbers, some don't.

We too want to use our Disney Visa on our trip to try and rack up those reward dollars!!

I think as Gail suggested, the best thing to do is to put your Disney Visa Card as the card on record at check-in. Then use your room card to charge what you want. I don't think any numbers to your account show up on that receipt.

I used my Disney Visa at check-in last month and then charged everything back to the room so my Visa number would not be on the receipts or available to waiters in restaurants. If you are not staying onsite, I would still use it. If there's a fraudulent charge they will not make you pay it but you will have the hassle. Between my Disney trip and a big vet bill, I earned 25 reward dollars last month!

Gotta love those Disney Visa's!!! The above posters have an excellent suggestion as using your Visa as your room charge and then at the parks and restaurants using your Resort ID to pay. That is what we plan to do in October.

Sounds like the way to go is charge on the room key card.

Thanks for the looknig up those receipts, Karen.

Don't you have a rather large amount of things on the bill at check out? Is there anyway to keep track of this? It seems like you could be charged for things and not know until you get home and go over the bill. That's why we always used a different card to pay just for the room. Now I am rethinking that .

You can go to Guest Services at anytime to get a printout of your charges. That way you can go over your charges before the end of your trip, or before you get home.

I keep my receipts, pull a folio every couple of days, compare items, correct errors ( it does happen now and then) and by the time I leave it takes about 5 mins. to recheck the entire final folio, which is on your door VERY early on the day of check out.
Just plan ahead (which you all are VERY VERY good at here) and you should be fine. If you are really savy, you keep track of all your expenses, total them up, call the front desk, for a folio total and it should match. Mine always seems (except for the occasional error, and I can find it easily by subtracting my total from theirs) to balance to the penny.

I always keep my receipts together and when I get the printout I go down the list and match them up, checking them off on both the receipts and the printout. It always worked fine for me except on my trip last month at OKW. For some reason, they did not have us listed for express checkout, so we did not get the printout delivered to the door in the morning. I went to the HH to get a printout as we were leaving. I matched it up when I got home and wouldn't you know we had a $12 double charge at Mousegears, the second one even said "repost". I called on Saturday morning and they said they would take care of it. On Tuesday, the second charge was credited to my account. When we stay at BWV, I usually get a printout the night before so that I have time to check it, but at OKW the front desk wasn't close to the room so I didn't.
