Using Disney Dollars at restaurants

Probably a couple of dumb questions, but here goes.

Do restaurants at all the Disney hotels and resorts accept Disney Dollars, or only those that are actually inside the parks?

What about the restaurants at Downtown Disney? Do any of them accept Disney Dollars?

Disney Dollars are "legal tender" on any Disney property. I've had no problems using them in Disney restaurants.

The problem with DTD is that these restaurants are not owned by Disney. They take greenbacks and plastic. I'm sure if anyone has had an experience to the contrary will speak up.

McDonald's in DTD took my Disney Dollars when I was there in May!

Unless things have changed, we've always used DDs in DTD without any problems (even at the "non-disney" establishments)

I'm so glad someone else asked this question first, I was wondering this same thing as every week since we booked the trip I go to the mall and buy $20.00 in DD. I figured if they didn't accept it I would just use them @ counter service in the parks.

As we all do! I am counting down. New experiences this year. It's so nice to have others understand how you can get excited about going somewhere you go to often. People now look at me and roll their eyes. Again! Isn't it boring? Funny huh?
