Using Discount Codes w/ Hotwire

Has anyone ever used discount codes with Hotwire? I just noticed if I used BJ's code & a coupon for Budget the price came down $1/day. But what I'm not clear is Budget normally deducts the coupons after you return the vehicle. Wondering if that would occur just the same?

UPDATE: Spoke with Hotwire, they said the rates shown are inclusive of any coupons which didn't make sense to me. The rate didn't change with the coupon budget went down $1/day with the BCD number for Budget.

Just price lined a Standard for 12 or full for 14$ per day. Accepted. (This was for Aug.. but worth a shot.)
