Using direct and resale points question

I am new to the idea of resale points. Actually never even came across my brain until recently and I have had my direct for 8 years. I am looking into a resale to add more points so my question is about the use of these points. Is it easy to blend these points if they are 2 different home resorts? So at the 7 month mark I call to make my plans and in theory I can use them all for my trip correct? Thanks!

Yes you are correct. Assuming your resale contract is not RIV and the same as your existing UY, then at 7 months you can use both the direct and resale contracts from different resorts for a single trip. Your resale contract needs to be deeded exactly the same as your direct contract for it to be put into the same membership.

It's very easy at 7 months. You simply choose which contracts you want to use first.

Agree with @D-Trick. As long as the direct and resale contracts are part of the same Membership, it is easy to combine them for use at 7 months.
