Using Designs from the Gallery

Hello All,
I love the creativity on this thread! I wish I had the talent to do what you do! As it is, I'm muddling my way thru trying to come up with a door magnet and maybe a first day on the ship tshirt design for my kids. To that end, I've been poking around the various design links posted in this thread, and I have a question...

If I find something I like, are the designs posted in sites like photobucket good enough resolution I could just copy them to my computer and use them in my program (I'm thinking printshop at the moment) or do I need to PM the owner and ask for a higher resolution copy?

Does anyone know of any nice door magnet DISigns out there that are available to customize and could point me in that direction? I don't need anything too fancy, but something with a cute picture that I could put something like "having a magical cruise" and our names and the date (to prevent theft!). How about Tshirt ideas for day 1 of the cruise?

I would say that depends on the designer. In some cases, the one in their photobucket is large enough and good enough resolution that you can just copy them to your computer and use them. In other cases (especially those designers with lots of designs), they might have shrunk the design to decrease the file size. In that case, you'll need to pm the designer and request them to e-mail you the full-size design. I usually try to copy it and see how it looks in the size that I want to print it. If it doesn't look good, then I send a pm.
