Using DDP credits

HI I am new at the DDP and I know you guys know the ins and outs. We are staying 6 nights. ON the morning that we leave are we entitled to credits on the DDP? Can we use them the day before we leave?

I have also read that we could use 2 TS meals in one day. Is that right?

You can use your dining credits any day you want. You get 1TS, 1CS, 1snack for every NIGHT you are booked in the hotel. You choose when during your stay you use the credits. So yes, you can use a credit on your departure day and yes you can use 2 table service meals in 1 day.

Your credits expire at midnight on the day that you check out, so you can use them all day. Yes, you may use your credits for 2 TS meals in one day (and even 3 TS meals, but you wouldn't be able to move after dinner!).

You can pretty much use your credits as often as you like, from the moment you check-in until midnight on the day you check-out. So if you want to go play in the parks after checking out, you can still use any remaining credits until midnight that evening.

If you want to have 3 TS meals in one day, you can. Or you could use 2 TS for each person each day and 1 CS. It's really pretty flexible. The only thing you can't do is use more credits for 1 meal than your resort ID/card shows. So if you're at dinner with Aunt Sally and little 5-year-old Ben - and your card shows 2 adults and 2 children - you can't redeem 3 adult TS meals and 3 child TS meals at that particular meal. Just a maximum of 2 adult and 2 children credits at a time if that's what your card shows. Of course, you could use 1 adult and 2 children, etc., if you want to share a meal. You just can't share buffets or all-you-can-care-to-eat meals.

These restrictions are really to stop people from using credits for people not on the DDP, and to stop people from using child credits for adult meals.

We had 9 snack credits left from the five of us for five nights at xmas this year. As we were checking out of OKW, we did the store and bought water, soda, cookies, candies, pretzels etc. for our drive to savannah(two nights there before heading home to Boston). It was great!
