using ddp credits when you have already pre-paid

we have booked to see HHDR. when making the booking online, i retrieved our room reservation, and clicked 'associate to my dining plan'. however i was still charged. how easy is it to get the money refunded back to my card, and to use ddp credits to pay for the show once we get out there?

I have no experience with this (yet...doing HDMR in Sept) however I thought I would just ask one question that might make a difference and might explain why you were charged...

The DDP is only available for Category 2 & 3 seats at all shows and also for Category 1 (as well as 2&3) at the 9:30 show. Are you sure you booked the correct Category level? If you did I would assume that there should be no trouble getting your payment credited and using your TS credits...we did this at CRT without difficulty (when we booked we were not on DDP and decided to add it after the fact)

I haven't done it myself, but I read that you're supposed to ask for a refund and to use your DDP instead when you go to the reservation.

I'll find out when we go to Cindy's breakfast in a few weeks.

I had this happen once when booking CRT. I simply called Disney Dining and they took care of it over the phone. No problems at all.

we are in catagory 2, which is included in the ddp
