Does anyone have experience using the DDP at Wine Bar George?
Or is it worth it to pay out of pocket?

Anyone have just over all reviews?

I don’t have experience but i have emailed the restaurant and got the following response from them:

I don't have any experience with the DDP, but I can give you an overall review!

We LOVE Wine Bar George! The food is amazing and the wine list very extensive. Even if you're not familiar with wines, they will work with you to find something that might appeal to you. You can purchase by the ounce, glass or bottle and they will make a custom flight if you're not sure which to order. They also have a brunch on the weekend that I've not done yet, but it looks good!

I don’t ever do the DDP so I can’t help you with that, but Wine Bar George is my favorite restaurant in DS and one of the best on property imo, an underrated gem. The Steak Frites at lunch was out of this world good and the service is incredible. It’s the total opposite of pretentious, they are incredibly knowledgeable about wine and very kind and patient with beginners. I highly recommend getting the custom wine flight. They are generous with the pours and the recs my server made were spot on.

Also no experience with DDP but we loved WBG too. We were there in December and had the mulled wine which was delicious. One of the better ones I've had; they obviously start with a really good red wine. We also ordered the big charcuterie board. There were three of us and we had a hard time finishing it (a fourth person arrived near the end and helped us to finish it off). Probably the best charcuterie platter I've had. My new goal is to get one of the baskets and take it back to our room for a late evening snack on the balcony.
