Using Credits at Different CS and more...

Hi,

I'm pretty sure this can be done, but just wanted to check and see if anyone has done this...

We're on DXDP...right now I'm leaving all our lunches as CS for flexibility.
DS is a picky eater and there are CS places that don't serve his standard favorite (Hot Dog) that the rest of us might want to try. Can we use our CS credits for a meal at different places without much hassle? Lets say 2 of us want to eat at Columbia Harbor House and the other 2 a Pinochicco one day?
Or we're all at Cosmic Rays and one person wants the BBQ chicken and another a salad and another a burger..can we each stand on a different line and get our one meal on the plan?

Also, since DS favborite is Hot Dogs I'm thinking Caseys is a good place for him. It doesn't have a childs menu and I know I can order for my son from the regualr menu. BUT, what if I only want to get a meal for my son there. Can I tell the CM to use the Child Credit for the meal and not an adult credit? Will they do that without any hassle?

Last question - refillable mugs...I know lots of controversy here. I've had them before and only use them at the resort. This year we're planning on going to a water park and I notice they offer refillable mugs at some of the CS places at the water parks. I do not want to pay more for a refillable mug at the water park since I already have them and if there's any place that I would consider bringing a refillable mug it would be there. Is it OK and proper to use my resort refillable mug at a water park? Or is it a big NO, NO? I'm not trying to get away with anything here...just curious.

Thanks...

You are free to use the credits however you wish. Your KTTW cards just have access to a pool of credits, you can take out one or you can take out one hundred credits in one sitting, it really doesn't matter.

If you are buying a child's meal for a child, then of course a child credit will be taken.

As for your mug question, the mugs you buy for the resort are for the resort only. This means that you can refill as many times as you want, but only at your hotel. Well, I suppose you could take it to another hotel and they wouldn't know, but this is not the case at the water parks.

I believe they have their own mug design, and the pricing system is different. You buy the mug and you get refills for like a whole day or something. I recall reading somewhere that you had to swipe your card or show a wristband or something to get it refilled. So that would rule out using your resort mug.

Either is fine. All plan credits can be accessed from any room KTTW card, so there's no problem doing exactly what you're saying.

You can, but it doesn't matter. Adult/child meal credits are not broken out separately on DxDP, for the same reason that CS credits aren't broken down on the other plans -- specifically, places like casey's that don't have a kid's menu. It is up to you to track credits appropriately.

That won't work. The water parks have their own mugs, and trying to use a resort mug will very likely be noticed and stopped.

Thanks for the info...especially on the mugs. I thought as much. We're at BWV in Sept and I always order cases of water...so I will bring some bottles to water park..it's hot in Sept. and we get mighty thirsty and I just can't see "wasting" snack credits on soda & water when there's all those other yummy snacks to try. We leave 5 weeks from tomorrow, but who's counting?!?!
