Using code for most your stay....

Okay stupid question I guess.

If I had a pkg trip booked with dining and noticed a code came out but code was only good through 2nd to last day of trip could they just apply code rate to those dates? How does that work?

I believe the code is generally provided for the length of stay as long as your checked in before the ending date.
