Ok so ive really gotta get my butt in gear we are leaving a week from this friday to Disney!

Ive read through some of the directions to make your own autograph books, i just have one question.

I figured its best to use blank 4x6 post cards since i have noticed that cutting out on the card stock isnt going so well. So..... on the 4x6 cards when the autograph books are binded does the "binding thingy" go too far down?

I jsut dont want it cutting off much and i dont really wanna delete much of the design to put on these cards...

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP THIS PROCRASTINATOR!:confused3

I bought one of the autograph books from disney. A 4x6 will be WAY too small.

I don't bind them. As I am not sure what characters I am going to see. Instead I take the cards with me in a photo book (from the dollar store), take out the card for the characters I see. Use a small clip board or a large clip (see below) to keep the card steady when the character signs. Then when I got home I put the pictures in the girls photo book of them having the character sign their card, then put the signature card in the photo book. I did this for my great-nieces and their Mom called me the other night to say one of the twins had the photo book out that I had made them. :goodvibes

When I did the character meals I bought a smaller photo book from the dollar store and put all the character meal cards in the book. We took them out when the characters came, then put them back in after we got signatures. have fun whatever you decide to do. Penny:hippie:

When I had mine bound at Kinkos, the binding only took up about 1/2 inch at the top. If you are usig 4x6 cards like I did (which was plenty of room for autographs), make a 5x7 cover so that all of the cards inside are protected. :goodvibes

Thanks for all of the suggestions I might do so, im just worried that because of the index card being thinner than stock its not going to turn out right, would it be fine if i used stock for the covers?

Yes, and then when you have it bound, ask them to put the clear protective covers on it if you are worried about your pages getting damaged. (Don't worry, the cards should be thick enough for the pages.) :goodvibes
