Using Banked Points - Do I have this Right?

I am suddenly unsure if I have done the right thing - please advise.
I have an April Use Year. I banked 173 2010 points into 2011.
I am going to call on Tuesday to book a 1 BR BCV for October for the F & & W festival using banked points for 5 nights. This will be less than the total 173 points. Then we plan to book 5 nights at VB for October at the 7 month window in March using the remainder of our 2010 points and some of our 2011 points.
Do I have this correct? Can I still use banked 2010 April Use Year points to book VB for October 2011 use at the 7 month window?
I thought I had it correct, and tonight I am second guessing myself.

You have it correct. The banked points are good for any trip that takes place in your April 2011 use year, 4/1/11 to 3/31/12
