Using AP Discount for Multiple Rooms

We're going to WDW in Feb. with extended family. We will all be staying at Pop the first night, but my family will be moving to BWV on day two. The rest of the family will stay at Pop for four nights, then move to POR. Can I use our AP discount for our first night at Pop but for the extended family's entire stay there? Could I also use our AP to check them in at POR even though we're not staying there?
