Im buying annual passes (francillien) and it says you cant use them on the first 2 days? is this if you purchase in the park? if i purchase from ce multiadvantage or somewhere like that, i buy them before i go but then activate the temporary into a proper pass, can i use them on the first 2 days then?

Confused

no - the 2nd and 3rd day are blocked after the first day you make them permanent. So in your case, that would be your 2nd and 3rd day at DLP, as you can only activate them on your first day (ie the day they become permanent APs).

The only way around this 2nd and 3rd day non-contractual days with the Francillien pass is to buy them in advance through the post from DLP themselves. That way you get permanent Francillien APs sent to you through the post, and so the 2nd and 3rd non-contractual days will already have passed by the time you reach DLP.

If you're staying in a Disney hotel, the blackout days don't apply.

but the non-contractual 2 days on the Francillien annual pass do apply, even if you are staying onsite (they are not blackout days).

I thought it was proven by someone on here that they don't.

I thought that was why ThBa had got his Francillien APs through the post in advance of his onsite trip to DLP earlier this year? So he could avoid the 2 non-contractual days problem?

I can't even remember who said it so I could be wrong!

That's how I understood it :thumbsup2

I'm sure ThBa will confirm though.

Confirm that. :thumbsup2

I ordered my 2 Francilien AP via post to avoid the 2nd/3rd blockout date and it worked well.

I stayed onside so no other "normal" blockout dates for me either.

That means: Getting Francilien via post plus staying onside = cheapest AP without any blockout dates through the year !

:cheer2:
