I ahev 2 contracts. One one contract I have banked points while on the other I have my annual allotment. I want to use the annual allotment before my banked points as the banked points have no restrictions on them. The reservation I am trying to make needs more than my banked points so it is looking to take the banked points first if I check both contracts. How do I use my annual allotment first? TIA hope I explained what I am asking clearly enough

If you don't want to use the banked points contract at all, then just don't check it when booking your trip. It will take from just the one that does not have banked points.

If any of the points needed have to come from a contract that has banked points, then there is no way around using those unless, you book a fake trip to use up the banked points...make sure its at least 31 days into the future...book what you want, and cancel the fake trip using the banked points.

The reason you want it 31 days or more is so when you cancel, you don't end up with holding points.

You could make a 'temp' reservation that used all the banked points. Then book the one you want using the 'fresh' points. Then cancel the 'temp' reservation to get the banked points back in your account. Or call and have MS do what you want. Just check that the points balance is what you wanted.

If you call DVC I think they are able to manually reallocate the way the points are used.

Sadly member services cannot do this either. If the contract is touched, it will always take banked points first.

I was told the order the system pulls from no matter what order the contract is chosen goes:

Banked > Borrowed > Regular

I called and did this. MS can absolutely do this. They might have to make you a "dummy" reservation.

Just get MS on the phone. They can absolutely do this and can see how all of the points got pulled.
