Using an APH rate

I reserved my room with an APH rate and ordered a PAP from the Universal website, with the "will-call" option.

Can I check-in to the PBH without having collected the PAP first? Will it be okay if I just show them the PAP purchase confirmation e-mail or should I go and collect the PAP first? Where are the "will-call" machines located?

When we stayed at the Hard Rock we just showed the paperwork for the AP.Have fun

i just came back from HRH and had the will call option for my pass too. they didn't even ask for it. i only mentioned it to the front desk person to check that i got the rate because they still had be down to get free tickets with the stay 4 play free deal. turns out that they had me down to get both deals. i told the clerk that i hadn't picked up the ticket yet and she just said okay. didn't ask for confirmation or for me to return with ticket or anything.

I had the same question & called the hotel & asked. They said as long as I showed the pass before I checked out there would be no problem.

Where are the "will-call" machines located?

I asked that question too. Didn't get a real specific answer, but they said they were at the parks (none @ the resort hotels). Maybe someone else who's been can give you more specifics, but I don't think they'll be hard to find. Have a great trip!

The will call machines are not hard to find. They are located at both the entrance to IOA and Universal. They are in the area where you purchase tickets. At IOA I believe the machines are located to the far right of all the ticket booths adjacent to guest services. We have never been asked for our AP when checking in using the APH rate.
