Using Aeroplan to buy tickets

I am planning a trip to WDW :) for April/May 2015, and I would like to use WestJet for the flights, hotel and dining, because I want a direct flight from Halifax. I have enough Aeroplan miles to get 3 of the 4 of us 7 day park hopper tickets for the parks. So I will need to buy park tickets for one child and to get an additional 3 days for the rest of us, to round out our 10 day stay. Does anyone know what the process would be to do that? Can I just redeem from Aeroplan the 7 day and add the additional 3 once I receive them? What about getting Magic Bands? Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

This is how we get our Disney tickets! Ordered the last one for DH this morning, leaving exactly 16 miles left in my account... Personally, on a 10 night stay, we find 7 day tickets is more than enough and we need a few "off" days to catch our breath. What you need to know is that once you place the order, it takes a few weeks before Aeroplan sends you a confirmation email. You need to bring this to the Will Call counter to pick up your actual tickets (might be able to do this at your Disney hotel). If you decide to upgrade your tickets, you can do so at the same time. This is the first year that I ordered Magic Bands. You link them to your account in the My Disney Experience App and then you do the same with your ticket so that they all link up. You don't need Magic Bands - you would get hard tickets otherwise - but it saves having to hold on to the kids's cards and getting everything out. You can order certain colours from the online Disney store - or wait until you get to Disney. You only get them free if you stay at a Disney hotel with package. Have fun!

I got one of my tickets with my Aeroplan points with the exchange rate I thought it was worth it. We had to wait a couple of weeks for the confirmation number so bear that in mind if you need to book your FP+. Once I had the voucher number, I linked them in My Disney Experience as the pp said and ordered my FP+, we are staying onsite so they should be loaded on our magic bands when we arrive.

I bought Park Hopper, Water Parks and more tickets for the first time this year. A 5 day ticket gives you 5 separate accesses to golf, mini-golf, Disney Quest and the 2 waterparks. We are at Disney for 8 days, we have 5 day tickets so we will have 3 non-park days to enjoy our resort, the waterparks and Disney Quest. I have teen boys so Disney Quest will be perfect for them.
