how expensive is it to use a taxi from the resorts to outlying areas? ( we really don't want to rent a car to visit friends in the area.

Its always more than I think it will be LOL!! Anywhere on Disney property is $12-$25 one way plus tip, so figure at least $25 plus distance. Use the fare calculator above.

We took a cab from the I Drive area to WDW & it was $45 plus tip one way.
