Using a friend's ADR?

Hi all. I am heading to WDW in a couple of weeks. I also have a friend who will be there at the same time. She has an ADR for Hollywood & Vine with Minnie and she may not be able to make it there that day. Would I be able to use her ADR if she can't? How would that work? Would I give her name and confirmation number? Alternatively, she may be able to meet me there and check me in. Would that be a better option?

I would just have her print the confirmation email for you and use her name at check in. Although I carry my confirmation email with me, I've never been asked for it. The CM's at check-in never ask to see an ID, either.

Thank you! I didn't recall them ever asking for an ID so I didn't think it would matter. Just wanted to check!

In all the years I've been going to Disney - I've never had any identification checked for a reservation. As long as there isn't another group trying to check in under the same reservation you'll be fine.
