Using a different credit card

I made reservations at the castle for dinner for some friends. Will they be able to use the reservation without my credit card or will we need to somehow transfer the reservation into their name and credit card? (and how would this be done?) At this point there are no reservations available.

CRT is a prepaid meal unless you are using dining plan credits for it. Your card was charged at the time the reservation was made. The server won't ask about the credit card that was used and if your friends order anything that isn't covered (e.g. additional beverages), they can use any credit card or other form of payment they wish.

When you made the reservation for them, did you put it in their name? If you used your name, just leave it as is unless you need to make a reservation for yourself for the same time because Disney won't let you hold 2 reservations for the same time.

I made it in my name but they are reading somewhere on the Disney site that you need the credit card when you eat. If that is mistaken then then we shouldn't have a problem. I made reservations for my family a different time that evening at Crystal Palace but they really wanted to eat in the castle.
